Aleksandra Maria Szewc


Aleksandra Szewc is a Polish product and service designer based in Zurich, Switzerland. She completed a Bachelor‘s degree in Industrial Design and Visual Communication with honors at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland and a Master‘s degree in Product Design at ECAL in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Aleksandra approaches design in a holistic manner, working across a range of design disciplines, from product and spatial design to service design. Her process is research driven, focusing on areas of environmental sustainability and the importance of design in the wider social context.

She is a finalist of Polish design competitions such as Young Design and make me! Her work has been shown at international exhibitions, including the Vitra Design Museum and Dutch Design Week. She currently works as a design researcher and lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts and as a product and service designer.
